Hi and welcome to my blog where i will discuss my experience with coronavirus.
Who am i?
i'm a 19 year old Belgian student
How did i get infected?
i went skiing in italy during the carnival holiday. the station at wich i skiied was Cervinia in the Val-d'Aoste about right next to lombardy where the first cases of the virus got declared in italy.
i spent the whole week skiing and i was thus in contact with lots of people.
the holidays went on perfectly until saturday where went back home. in the morning i felt a pain in my neck but didn't think much of it.
during the trip i also started to cough a lot so when we came home we decided to not go visit my grandparents as planned and to have a doctor come to make tests.
I did the test and days went by. the sickness got weaker but still present so i thought it probably was something else than coronavirus.
then on wednesday i recieved the results of the test and well. it was positive.
how does it feel?
honestly coronavirus wasn't really too bad for me since i didn't get the pneumonia complication.
still it isn't a great experience. my head hurts a lot, i have some temperature but not too much and i have periods where i cough a LOT. Also i am not allowed outside of my house wich is postive in the way it gives me a lot of free time but it also keeps me from going to lessons and go out. i am also limited in what i can do effectively since my headache makes it hard to concentrate during even moderate periods of time.
